Photo montage videos have been popping up a lot recently and while they may be a little seizure inducing or else geared for those people with serious ADD disorders there’s no doubt that they’re pretty cool. They have this way of affecting your subconscious and as you sit astounded you’ll wonder how you suddenly know this place so deeply.
The following video is by Mike Matas, an SF based photographer and user interface designer. He traveled for a month from Nepal through India in a terminally broken auto-rickshaw and shot a couple of pictures. The tag-line is 2,000 miles, 30 days, 3,000 photos in 3 minutes. It’s really cool, and a unique vantage point for the country of India. Take a look.
