We’ve got plenty to be excited about here at the AirTreks World Headquarters – a successful year with public appearances at the Book Passage Travel Writers and Photographers Conference, Tbex, and Meet Plan Go. But this month our excitement centers around our inclusion on the 2012 edition of the Condé Nast Travel Specialists Collection.
The Travel Specialists Collection is a bona fide, time-tested, and thoroughly vetted assemblage of travel agents and agencies from around the country who do what they do very well. And we’re extremely pleased to be a part of it this year.
What it means is that Condé Nast considers AirTreks to be a top specialist in our niche as complex multi-destination plane ticket providers. They see us as a business highly adept at identifying the best flights and prices and seizing them for our clients, giving a more efficient and pleasurable booking process overall.
From the description page written by Wendy Perrin, Director of Consumer News at Condé Nast Traveler, here’s what she feels about list members:
[They] represent the best blend of destination knowledge, insider connections, user-friendliness, and value for your dollar that I’ve found in more than two decades of scrutinizing the travel industry for this magazine.
According to Perrin, getting on this list is “tougher than getting into Harvard”. And since we weren’t able to land a spot at Harvard this year, we’ll take this achievement.
AirTreks and Sara Habib, our main contact for Specialists Collection inquiries, are honored and thrilled to be a part of Condé Nast’s collection for 2012.
